- · Buckeye did 3 escape rooms in June and another 3 in July
- · Mesa worked with their senior centers
- · Scottsdale would drop off game boards to summer programs
- · Surprise had a partnership with Parks and Rec- sometimes leadership didn’t give info down
- · Did storytimes at the pool
- · The benefits of signing adults up for SRP then just adding kids to their account
- · Talked about goals and maybe tying new goal increases to population increase of their city
- · Different libraries talked about getting local sponsors and restaurants to sponsor SRP (Culvers)
- · Talked about how outreach changes during the summer period
- · Some cities do welcome packets to new residents -change of address info and send them a postcard
- · Company that we get billing service can also do new residents mailing service
- · Starting a Google drive for us to share info and our events- talked about a discord channel
- · Surprise talked about storytime at the stadium during spring training and families could come early and do storytime on the grass and then stay for the game
- · Also discounts at the stadium with your library card
- · We then signed up for library cards from each other’s systems
