EL MIRAGE REOPENS!
On Monday, March 18th we reopened El Mirage Branch with ShelfLogic in place, new customer service desk & shelving, and with the support of the City, new carpet and paint. This much needed renovation has enhanced library service significantly to the El Mirage community.
WHITE TANK RECORDER’S KIOSK
In collaboration with the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office, a ribbon cutting to unveil the fifth kiosk took place on March 20th. The kiosk has the capability of housing a computer terminal with touch screen ability, document scanning and printing, audio, video and credit card reader; and it permits citizens to record their document(s) while still in direct communication with one of the Recorder’s staff. Its presence in the outlying areas of the County is an immense convenience, allowing residents the ability to record their document(s) without having to travel to downtown Phoenix.
ANNUAL STAFF DAY
This year Staff Day will take place at our administrative offices on April 26th. All MCLD libraries will be closed and the focus will be on training.
We launched Zinio in February and both staff and customers love it!
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY
