Wickenburg Public Library Report

Voters in Wickenburg passed Proposition 456, which says that the Town will fully fund the library.  There is still discussion as to what that means exactly, and how they will find the money to do that.  The Friends next quarterly payment is due November 20, so a lot hinges on whether or not they continue to make the payments.

I have not yet made it public, but the library will have a fine amnesty in December, along with a food drive for the local food bank.

We will have live music in the library on December for a holiday celebration.  A local band, Country Grass, will play seasonal selections.

I am excited and happy that I am the new AzLA President-elect, but I am sorry to say that I must resign as secretary of MCLC.
