- Friends of the Library Capital Campaign Committee kicks off $500,000 fundraising for new children’s space, Discovery Zone, with cocktail party November 15.
- Scottsdale 2013 Bond Task Force considering library request to include $1.4M for library technology; 1.8M for Discovery Zone; and 1.9M for Civic Center Library auditorium, study rooms and gallery renovations.
- Civic Center Library and Mustang Library named “Family Place Libraries”.
- Beginning new library strategic plan process.
- Just one month left to complete 0-based budget requests for 2013-14.
